However, it is the employee body who put forth the effort to see these accomplishments realized. As organizations join the growing number of corporations adopting a code of ethics, the obligation of its members assumes a more critical role. Ethical agent is added to their list of responsibilities. It is in this role assumed to inspire and influence positive change, as well as enhance their corporate culture by ethical means. Ethical leaders â€Å"teach† ethical conduct to employees through their own behavior. For social learning of ethical behavior to take place, role models must be credible in terms of moral behavior.
